Tile roofer — Wilcox County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a tile roofer in Wilcox County, Alabama. The job is at a busy roofing firm. Your main tasks: • Install metal flashing around chimneys and skylights • Fix clay and concrete tiles onto the battens • Carry out leak inspections and patch repairs • Lay underlayment and tar paper before tiling • Bed and point ridge tiles with mortar • Replace cracked or slipped tiles and slates Ideal candidate: • Confident working at height on ladders and scaffolds • Working-at-height or scaffold safety certificate • A good head for heights and steady balance At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
