Electrical technician — Arlington County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an electrical technician in Arlington County, Virginia. You will work in a power distribution substation. Ideal candidate: • Valid wireman/electrical licence as required by the state • ITI in electrical trade or wireman certificate • Familiar with megger, multimeter and clamp meter On a typical shift you will pull and terminate cables in conduit and cable trays; size and route cabling to suit the load current and voltage drop; test insulation resistance with a megger; replace faulty switches, sockets and light fittings; run conduit, lay PVC trunking and clip cable. 1+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around $4,500 per month, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
