Rigging foreman • Macomb County, Michigan

Immediate opening: we are hiring a rigging foreman in Macomb County, Michigan. Ideal candidate: • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams Day-to-day duties: • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
