Concrete placer — Somerset

Immediate opening: we are hiring a concrete placer in Somerset, England. Day-to-day duties: • Patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout • Fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule • Screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing • Strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength What we are looking for: • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers Full-time with occasional weekends.
