Steel erection rigger — Chowan County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a steel erection rigger in Chowan County, North Carolina. Ideal candidate: • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather On the job you will handle: • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position Rotating shifts.
