Pipe TIG welder — King County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a pipe TIG welder in King County, Texas. You will be based in a stainless steel kitchen-equipment unit. You will inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec. Requirements: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection 5+ years on the tools preferred.
