Immediate opening: we are hiring a garden maintenance worker in Stonewall County, Texas. You will be based in a botanical garden. The role involves lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn; apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds; plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings; cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs; maintain compost heaps and the potting shed; water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors • An eye for detail and a tidy, well-kept finish • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
