Presser — York County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a presser in York County, South Carolina. The job is at a dry cleaner's. Day to day you will give each garment a final press before packing; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching. Requirements: • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
