Vacancy available: we are hiring a painter in Prince George's County, Maryland. The job is at a busy decorating firm. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for standing, bending and reaching all day • Skilled with brush, roller and spray application • Comfortable working at height on ladders and scaffolding The role involves: • Prep and prime metal, treating rust with red-oxide primer • Apply textured and weatherproof masonry coatings to exterior walls • Cut in neat edges along ceilings, cornices and door frames • Strip old paint and wallpaper with scrapers and heat guns • Sand and fill walls before applying primer • Lay down dust sheets and protect floors and furniture 6+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
