Vacancy available: concrete worker (New York)

Now hiring: we are hiring a concrete worker in Tioga County, New York. The role involves: • Load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days • Set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins • Lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade • Mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab Ideal candidate: • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods Six days a week, one day off.
