Argon welding operator — Wayne County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an argon welding operator in Wayne County, West Virginia. You will be based on a structural steel site. Your main tasks: • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing Requirements: • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
