Vacancy available: we are hiring a port container crane operator in Bradford County, Florida. On the job you will handle: • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams Ideal candidate: • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Able to read load charts and lifting plans At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
