Immediate opening: we are hiring a car painter in Kenosha County, Wisconsin. You will work at a busy body shop. What we are looking for: • Keen attention to detail and a steady hand • Able to read and match factory paint codes Your main tasks: • Wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying • Wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs • Apply primer, base coat and clear coat with an HVLP spray gun • Mix two-pack (2K) clear coat with hardener in the correct ratio • Sand and feather-edge damaged panels before painting Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
