Now hiring: we are hiring an automotive refinish painter in Lake County, Minnesota. The job is in a spray booth. Day-to-day duties: • Blend new paint into adjacent panels for an invisible repair • Set the spray gun air pressure and fan pattern for an even finish • Wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying • Check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch • Apply body filler and block-sand to a smooth contour Requirements: • Sound knowledge of 2K paints, primers and hardeners • Good eye for colour matching and blending Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
