Great opportunity: we are hiring an automotive refinish painter in Pierce County, Washington. The job is at an accident repair centre. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working in a spray booth with full PPE • Physically fit to stand, bend and crouch for long periods The role involves mix and tint paint to match the customer's colour code; mix two-pack (2K) clear coat with hardener in the correct ratio; mask off trim, glass and rubber seals with tape and paper; wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying; wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs; apply primer, base coat and clear coat with an HVLP spray gun. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
