Dogger — Pike County

Now hiring: we are hiring a dogger in Pike County, Mississippi. You will work in a heavy machinery workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio Ideal candidate: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams 2+ years on the tools preferred.
