Join our team: we are hiring a dozer operator in Breathitt County, Kentucky. On a typical shift you will work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals; carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil; rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank; grade and level subgrade for roads, pads and platforms; spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction; form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle. Ideal candidate: • Valid heavy equipment or plant operator licence • Physically fit for climbing on and off the machine 3+ years on the tools preferred. $2,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
