Great opportunity: we are hiring an auto painter in Jefferson County, Pennsylvania. You will be based in a spray booth. Day to day you will bake panels in the spray booth oven to cure the paint; compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss; sand and feather-edge damaged panels before painting; check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch; apply primer, base coat and clear coat with an HVLP spray gun; mask off trim, glass and rubber seals with tape and paper. What we are looking for: • Able to mix paint by weight on a scale • Good eye for colour matching and blending • 2+ years' experience in automotive refinishing 2+ years on the tools preferred.
