Press setter operator wanted in Montgomery County

Now hiring: we are hiring a press setter operator in Montgomery County, Maryland. You will work at a busy press shop. Requirements: • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses Your main tasks: • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely • Record output and downtime on the production sheet • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses $160 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
