Conventional mill operator — Screven County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a conventional mill operator in Screven County, Georgia. The job is at a busy machine shop. The role involves: • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production You should have: • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T 2+ years on the tools preferred.
