Ideal candidate: • Basic cake decorating and piping skills • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving • Accurate at weighing and following recipes Day-to-day duties: • Monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch • Pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls • Load and unload the deck oven with a peel • Score the top of loaves before baking • Prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity Rotating shifts. $260 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
