Structural MIG welder — Ouray County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a structural MIG welder in Ouray County, Colorado. You will work in a heavy engineering unit. What we are looking for: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • ITI in welder trade or equivalent On the job you will handle: • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls Rotating shifts.
