Vacancy available: shuttering and concrete hand (Kentucky)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a shuttering and concrete hand in Pulaski County, Kentucky. You will work on a building construction site. What we are looking for: • 2+ years on RCC and concreting works • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours On the job you will handle: • Float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish • Strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength • Discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days 4+ years on the tools preferred. $29 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
