Gas service engineer wanted in Howard County

Now hiring: we are hiring a gas service engineer in Howard County, Maryland. You will work on residential and apartment building sites. Day-to-day duties: • Test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser • Read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes • Run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply • Braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints Requirements: • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations • Driving licence for travel between sites 1+ years on the tools preferred.
