TIG welder — Moro

Vacancy available: we are hiring a TIG welder in Moro, Kwara State. The job is at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. Ideal candidate: • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols Day-to-day duties: • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
