Fusing press operator — Lawrence County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a fusing press operator in Lawrence County, Indiana. You will be based in a garment export house. The role involves sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; meet the daily piece target without damaging garments; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron. Requirements: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets 6+ years on the tools preferred.
