Now hiring: we are hiring a split AC fitter in St. Clair County, Alabama. You will work at a busy AC installation company. The role involves insulate the suction line with Armaflex nitrile sleeving; core-drill through brick and concrete walls to route the refrigerant piping; mount indoor and outdoor split units on wall brackets and level them; evacuate the system with a vacuum pump and confirm a deep vacuum; check superheat and subcooling to confirm the correct gas charge; recover the refrigerant before dismantling or relocating a unit. Requirements: • Can read electrical and piping schematics • 2+ years hands-on split and cassette AC installation experience At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts.
