Great opportunity: we are hiring a crane operator in Atchison County, Kansas. You will work on an earthmoving and excavation site. Requirements: • Able to read levels, pegs and basic site drawings • Able to operate excavator, loader and dozer confidently Day to day you will load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely; top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects; backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations; excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels; load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket; check for underground cables and services before digging. Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. We offer $17 per hour plus benefits. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time with occasional weekends.
