Great opportunity: we are hiring a chef de partie in Vernon Parish, Louisiana. You will be based in a hotel kitchen. Requirements: • 2+ years' experience as a cook in a busy kitchen • Able to stand for long shifts and work in heat • Able to lift heavy stock pots and sacks of supplies On a typical shift you will check deliveries and rotate stock using FIFO; follow standardised recipes and stick to portion sizes; knead dough and bake breads such as roti, naan and paratha; keep the station clean and sanitised throughout the shift; monitor food temperatures and run regular HACCP checks; manage the tandoor and skewer kebabs.
