Now hiring: we are hiring a formwork erector in Tipton County, Tennessee. The job is on a busy high-rise construction site. Ideal candidate: • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing Day to day you will cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs; assemble and align system formwork panels (Doka, Peri, MIVAN); strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured; fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure; check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line. 5+ years on the tools preferred. $2,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
