Now hiring: we are hiring a construction helper in Lawrence County, Pennsylvania. The job is on a building construction site. On the job you will handle: • Cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days • Load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate • Break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker • Dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel • Hand tools and materials up to workers on the upper floors • Bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns What we are looking for: • Prior experience as a labourer on building or civil sites • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio • Able to follow the mason's and supervisor's instructions Meals and transport allowance provided.
