Plant operator • Washington County, Kansas

Vacancy available: we are hiring a plant operator in Washington County, Kansas. You will backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers; inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up; excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs; lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains; grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient; dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels. Ideal candidate: • Valid CPCS/NPORS card or local heavy-equipment licence • Own PPE — safety boots, hi-vis and hard hat Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
