Crane rigger — Lavaca County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a crane rigger in Lavaca County, Texas. You will be based at a busy construction site. The role involves: • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks You should have: • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Confident with standard crane hand signals At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
