Now hiring: we are hiring a toolroom milling operator in Pitkin County, Colorado. You will be based at a busy machine shop. Requirements: • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges You will deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery; apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed; load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control; keep in-process inspection records and log production counts. 1+ years on the tools preferred.
