Groundsman wanted in Polk County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a groundsman in Polk County, North Carolina. You will be based at a private estate garden. On the job you will handle: • Dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds • Maintain compost heaps and the potting shed • Check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads • Lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn What we are looking for: • Valid driving licence for travel between sites • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. We offer $4,300 per month plus benefits. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
