We are recruiting: we are hiring a machine operator (earthworks) in Otsego County, New York. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for long hours in the cab on outdoor sites • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones The role involves dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels; dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds; grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient; strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse; keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly; clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble.
