Trowel-trade bricklayer — Sutter County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a trowel-trade bricklayer in Sutter County, California. The job is at a groundworks and structures site. The role involves: • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters You should have: • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding Full-time with occasional weekends.
