We are recruiting: we are hiring a VMC operator in Harvey County, Kansas. The job is in a die and mould making unit. The role involves: • Deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter Requirements: • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work Full-time, day shift.
