Horizontal milling machine operator wanted in Deschutes County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a horizontal milling machine operator in Deschutes County, Oregon. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges You will deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery; set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines; mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square; keep in-process inspection records and log production counts; select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors. Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time, day shift. Contact us to fix an interview.
