Now hiring: we are hiring a structural MIG welder in Manitowoc County, Wisconsin. Ideal candidate: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test On the job you will handle: • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead Overtime paid at a premium rate.
