Join our team: we are hiring a power press operator in Pulaski County, Georgia. You will work at a white goods manufacturing plant. Ideal candidate: • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout On a typical shift you will load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed; punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components; record output and downtime on the production sheet; check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges; set up and change stamping dies and tooling. Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. $4,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends.
