Immediate opening: we are hiring a groundskeeper in Ogle County, Illinois. The job is at a plant nursery. Day-to-day duties: • Repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings • Water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines • Spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease • Cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs Ideal candidate: • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules 3+ years on the tools preferred.
