Stainless steel welder wanted in Boone County

Now hiring: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Boone County, Iowa. You will be based in a pharmaceutical piping facility. What we are looking for: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances Your main tasks: • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
