Plant operator (dozer) — Van Buren County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a plant operator (dozer) in Van Buren County, Michigan. You will work at an open-cast mine. You will backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid; follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels; rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank; strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse. Ideal candidate: • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes • Safety awareness around banksmen, trucks and other plant • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and uneven terrain On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
