Domestic gas engineer — Jackson County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a domestic gas engineer in Jackson County, Tennessee. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders • Able to read isometric and site drawings On a typical shift you will connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply; set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge; read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes; fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls; thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant; install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. $170 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Six days a week, one day off. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
