You should have: • Comfortable working in inspection pits and on ramps • Good eyesight and methodical fault-finding • Physically fit for lifting heavy parts Day-to-day duties: • Replace alternators, starter motors and batteries • Diagnose engine faults using an OBD-II scan tool • Replace shock absorbers, ball joints and track-rod ends • Carry out suspension and steering repairs • Replace exhaust systems and catalytic converters $5,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
