Toolroom milling operator — Buffalo County

Now hiring: we are hiring a toolroom milling operator in Buffalo County, Wisconsin. The job is in a die and mould making unit. On a typical shift you will set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm; monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters; mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square; run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production. You should have: • Able to grind and set HSS cutters • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work 6+ years on the tools preferred.
