Flatlock machine operator wanted in Sumter County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a flatlock machine operator in Sumter County, South Carolina. The job is at a busy garment factory. On a typical shift you will keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers. Ideal candidate: • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus $9,000 per project, negotiable for the right hands.
