Urgent requirement: bricklayer (Texas)

Now hiring: we are hiring a bricklayer in Leon County, Texas. You will be based at a residential building site. Day to day you will mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod; building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses; bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks Pay around $3,300 per month, based on your experience.
