MIG welder — Mifflin County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a MIG welder in Mifflin County, Pennsylvania. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety Your main tasks: • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints 3+ years on the tools preferred.
